• Damaged liver miraculously repaired
‘I had been suffering from a weakened liver due to years of alcohol abuse and I got prayed for and my liver function is now back up to 100%.’
(The same story from someone else’s perspective:)
‘One Sunday morning, before our regular meeting, the words “damaged liver” came into my head; this is often a way that God uses to highlight a particular problem that He wants to heal. I spoke to Scott, and in the meeting he announced that there had been a word of knowledge (that’s what the bible calls it) about a damaged liver. A young man came forward, whose liver had been damaged to about half of its proper functionality through his destructive lifestyle. Douglas and I prayed for him to be completely healed. He was due to have a blood test the following week, so his liver functionality was going to be tested anyway. He came to me two weeks later and said that the blood test was completely normal – 100% functionality restored! The doctor was so incredulous that he scheduled this young man for an ultrasound scan to see if the scar tissue that had been present on his liver was still present; these appointments take a long time to come around, so we do not yet know the result, but we thank God for His complete healing.’
UPDATE 08.06.08: ‘The ultrasound scan result has come back: completely clear – no scarring left!’
